Born and brought up in Ayrshire, Scotland, I now live and work in the beautiful city of Lancaster.
My background is in local newspapers and I have been a professional photographer for nearly 25 years, since leaving school.
I enjoy meeting and photographing people, but more recently have been exploring landscape, wildlife and nature photography. Living close to the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, I am spoilt for choice with such inspiring coastline and countryside.
I have worked through black & white and colour 35mm film and am now a fan of the digital era.
