I started photographing weddings for friends and work colleagues around the Lancaster area, about 10 years ago. It was a hobby that developed into a part-time business.
I now own the latest Nikon digital slr equiptment and always carry a spare camera for peace of mind.
As important as being able to produce high quality and imaginative images, is having the right personality and attitude when dealing with people. I always feel privilaged to be asked to photograph someone's wedding and firmly believe that the couple should feel relaxed with the photographer and enjoy the experience.
My communication skills from many years in local newspapers have helped me to work well under pressure, be organised and confident, whilst treating my customers with courtesy and respect. I cringe whenever I hear about rude, pushy wedding photographers!
PRICESI believe in charging a fair price for the work (digital printing is inexpensive) and offer a simple straightforward price package of £495 (a small additional charge applies for weddings outside the Lancaster area to cover travel). This is for...coverage from arrival of the wedding party for the ceremony, to the start of the reception. The price includes a quality traditional-style album containing twenty-five 9"x6" prints.
For an additional charge of £50 you can have a disc containing all those and many more high resolution images from your big day, allowing you to cheaply print your own copies or email them to guests. Alternatively, if you prefer, I can print copies/ enlargements (including on canvas) for you at a very reosnable cost.
If you wish more photography or prints, or a different style of album, then I shall be happy to provide a service to suit you.
